Mathematics

The Department of Mathematics at YSR Govt. Degree College was established in February 2021, offering students a mindful and enriching environment to explore and learn mathematics. Currently,  the Department of Mathematics offers an undergraduate program B.Sc. MPCs designed for students, providing a strong foundation in Mathematics and its applications. The department is supported by one permanent faculty member. Over time, the department has undertaken numerous studies, achieving significant multi-dimensional growth in various mathematical domains such as differential equations, solid geometry, Real analysis, Linear algebra, Numerical Analysis and Laplace Transforms, Integral Transforms.

Vision:

The Mathematics Department Provide a solid foundationin Mathematical Literacy  that students acquire basic mathematical literacy, including numeracy, the ability to interpret and represent mathematical information and a fundamental understanding of mathematical concepts.

Mission:

• To achieve the Vision we should have diligent faculty who use effective teaching methodologies.

• To prepare our students to develop the attitude and ability to apply mathematical methods and ideas in a wide variety of careers.

• To develop Problem-Solving Skills by presenting students with a variety of mathematical problems and challenges. Encourage them to explore multiple approaches to problem-solving.
