This college commenced its academic journey in the year 2020-21, offering six programs with a total intake of 180 students. Presently, four programs are actively running, which include B.A(HECA) with a capacity of 30 students, B.Com(CA) with an intake of 50, B.Sc(MPCs) with an intake of 30, and B.Sc (BZC) with an intake of 30.

    During the academic year 2021-22 computer lab was established with MPLADS funds of rupees 5.5 Lakhs given by Sri. N.Reddeppa garu, Hon’ble MP, Chittoor.

   During the academic Year 2021-22, Physics, Chemistry, Botony and Zoology labs were established with finanacial assistance of rupees 15 Lakhs given by Prof. K. Raja Reddy, Vice- Chancellsor, Prof. M.D. Hussein, Registrar, SV University, Tirupati on loan Basis.

   Starting from the academic year 2023-24, in alignment with the guidelines of the National Education Policy (NEP) and under the directives of the Commissionerate for Collegiate Education (CCE) in Andhra Pradesh, the college has transitioned to offering single major programs. These programs encompass BA(Economics), B.Com(Computer Applications), B.Sc(Computer Science), and B.Sc(Botany).

     The college is located at Vedurukuppam is a Village and Mandal headquarter in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh in India. It is a rural area , also a socially and economically backward area in the G.D. Nellore assembly constituency. Tirupati is the nearest railway station and Airport to Vedurukuppam around 25 kms . Frequent bus services from Puttur, Chittoor and Tirupati via Vedurukuppam are in operation.
